That looks really nice, but $26,700 and the reserve hasn't been met yet! That is a ton of money.

I've seen them go higher in that condition, and the fact that it is a Strope might add a few $$ to the price as well. I'd say 30-32k would be fair.

Just looked on Hemmings and damn, those things are spendy. Remember looking at one maybe 15 yrs. ago or so. Wasn't interested in it, just saw it sitting with a 'for sale' sign so I stopped to look at it. Think it was maybe $5k. Guess I should have bought it.

Yeah the prices of early SUV's, Bronco and FJ40 in particular, have come on real strong in recent years. A friend of mine traded a couple of fastback Mustangs last year for a low mile unrestored early Bronco. Watch Barrett Jackson this week and I'm sure there will be some trucks selling for jaw-dropping prices.
